The BC557 is a PNP Bipolar Junction Transistor (BJT) widely used in low-power electronic circuits for switching and amplification purposes. It is one of the most common transistors found in audio circuits, sensor modules, control circuits, and educational electronics projects. The BC557 is the PNP complement of the BC547 transistor.
