Description
The NE5532 is a high-performance dual low-noise operational amplifier (Op-Amp) widely used in professional audio equipment, mixers, equalizers, tone control circuits, microphone preamps, and Hi-Fi amplifiers.
It contains two independent op-amps in a single 8-pin package and is famous for its very low noise, low distortion, and excellent audio quality. Because of these characteristics, the NE5532 is considered one of the best budget audio op-amps and is often used as an upgrade for older op-amps such as the JRC4558D.
