Description
The BD140 is a PNP medium-power bipolar junction transistor (BJT) commonly used in audio amplifiers, switching circuits, voltage regulators, and power control applications. It is the complementary PNP version of the BD139 transistor and is frequently used together with BD139 in Class-AB amplifier circuits.
Because of its good voltage rating, current handling capability, and reliability, the BD140 is widely used in DIY amplifier projects and industrial electronics.
